From Avenue to Street
Avenues lead From South to North, Streets go from East to West (V.Mayakovsky, "Broadway") A- venue. A Venue For Shar Peis, Sharper Than Time. Emit First cubes from your windows Over Iron Horses, - You, Running Houses! Bend, swans of necks of the belfries, Bend in the traps of the wires! High in the sky, Giraffe ornament tries To dismottle the rusty cornrows. He’s as motley as trout's scale - Son Of the farmland unflowered. Wiz pulls the rails From the maw of the tram, Being hidden by dials of a tower. We are conquered! Bathrooms. Showers. Lift. Lifted and shown is the bra of the soul. Hands Burn Body. Shout or not, gal – “I didn’t want to!”, - Sharp Is the Burn Of worry. Echinate whirlwind Tears shag of wool smoky From chimney reeky armpit. Bald–headed streetlight Takes the black stocking Lustfully off the street.
